Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: email address, display name and a hashed password when you sign up. Guests get a random identifier stored in a cookie.
• Activity: what you watch and play, progress, likes, saves, follows, comments, rewards, cards and your wallet and ledger.
• Creator submissions: prompts and drafts, game links, applications and the contact details you give us.
• Purchases: records of coin packs and subscriptions. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, language, pages viewed and error logs.

2. How we use it

• To run OpenDrama: play videos and games, keep your wallet and rewards, show your profile and comments.
• To pay creators correctly and keep the economy fair, including fraud and abuse prevention.
• To generate AI content you request.
• To personalise recommendations and improve the product.
• To answer you, send service messages and meet legal duties.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use an essential session cookie (od_sid) to keep you signed in or to remember your guest wallet, for up to 180 days. We also use your browser’s local storage for interface preferences. Your language is part of the web address (/zh, /es), not a tracking cookie.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your personal data. We count page views with our own cookieless counter: no IP address, device identifier or cookie is stored, visitors who send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted, and the anonymous daily visitor estimate is deleted after two days. Feedback you send is stored with the optional email you type.

4. Who we share data with

• Hosting and delivery: Cloudflare runs our servers, database, storage and video delivery.
• Payments: when payments are live, a payment provider processes card payments.
• AI providers: prompts and inputs for AI features are sent to the providers that run those models.
• Fonts: pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them.
• Legal and safety: authorities or others when required by law or to protect people and the service.
• Public information: your display name, creator profile, public works and comments are visible to others.

5. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Transaction and ledger records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal reasons. Logs are kept for a limited period. When you delete your account we remove or anonymise personal data within a reasonable time, except what we must keep by law.

6. Security

We protect data in transit with TLS, store passwords hashed and limit internal access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. Children

OpenDrama is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

We operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required we use appropriate safeguards.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email info@opendrama.ai and we will respond within the time the law allows. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will tell you on the site or by email.
