Co-op dungeons in Ash of the Covenant: a room code, two players and a debug panel

AshOfCovenant has been adding co-op to Ash of the Covenant, a dark-fantasy action roguelike: explore dungeons with a friend, hunt chests and fight giant bosses together. The most useful thing in the 81-second clip sits in the top-left corner: a plain debug panel reading "Room: ASH-TEST" and "Players: 2/4", with a Leave Co-op button under it. The dev doesn't describe the netcode, so the route below, one feature at a time with an AI coding model, is our suggestion.
