Chetan Ankola made a lantern-carrying ghost in the browser: rain, black water, fabric that flutters. GPT 6 Astra did the design, Claude Opus 5.5 wrote the Three.js. We look at the cloth, the light and five small interactions.
maxescu re-ran @techhalla's exact Gemini 4 Argon vs Opus 5.5 prompt in Antigravity and got a four-machine da Vinci museum. How the scene is built, and why one run per model proves little.
A fill-in brief you paste into a coding model at the start of a game: loop, controls, rules, camera, feel numbers, scope cuts and acceptance tests, plus working rules that make it ask questions first, plan milestones and build one verified step at a time.
A four-part prompt set for the play → report → fix loop with a coding agent: session rules, bug and feel report templates, and a verify step, so every round is one small diff checked against one number.
A fill-in prompt that gets an AI coding model to write a modern Three.js skeleton: ES modules, correct colour management, PMREM lighting, a damped camera rig, a shared loading manager, resize handling, a DPR cap and a perf HUD.
Write a one-page spec (core loop, controls, win and lose, camera, scope limits, acceptance tests) before you prompt, then build in small milestones you verify by playing. What goes in the spec, how big a step should be, and when to restart.
Turn playtest words like floaty, slippery or weak into measured numbers (acceleration and stop times, coyote time, input buffers, camera damping, hit-stop, screen shake) and tune them with an AI model one or two values at a time.
How to split game work between separate AI agents (planner, builders, playtester, reviewer), connect them with task cards, hand-off notes and screenshot evidence, stop them undoing each other, and keep token costs in check.
Shared by @threejs: eight Monet paintings turned into WebXR worlds you can walk, fly and paint in. How the brushstroke renderer, the hand controls and the voice guide work.
lxfater had a locally hosted ~100B-parameter model write the code, Tripo3D make the car shells and Godot hold it together: a Mini 4WD game with car select, swappable parts and races, in one day.
Meng To is building an icon-and-illustration-to-3D tool with Opus 5.5: presets, materials, bases and animated backdrops. How it is structured, and where an SVG-to-3D pipeline breaks.
In a 45-minute tutorial Meng To shows how he builds web apps with Claude Code and Codex: meeting notes to baseline, one thread per feature, then an AI API and Stripe. The method and the three prompts.
TechHalla gave both models the same da Vinci workshop brief and cut the results into a split screen. Opus built a warm museum, Gemini an engineering dashboard; what each chose, and what one run can’t tell you.
maxescu had Gemini 4 Argon build an 8-voice retro synth in under half an hour, all in a single HTML file. We read the live source to show how it's structured and how to get a model to hand you a playable instrument.
Muse Wonder takes 1M tokens of code, images, video and audio, and answers in text only. Working from Baoyu's rundown, here's where it fits in a creative pipeline and where it falls short.
A betta fish that lives on a Mac desktop, generated entirely in code by Opus 5.5. We break down the fin rays, the colour and the lagging motion so you can code your own.
Chetan Ankola's bubble toy floats iridescent soap bubbles over a 360° courtyard photo. How the bubble material, the backdrop and the three-verb controls fit together.
Chetan Ankola moved his GPT 6 Astra soap bubbles to a Wynwood mural street and a garden. How the scene swaps, per-scene exposure and the bent view through each bubble work.
Chetan Ankola vibe-coded a palm island with an ocean and a pool in Three.js. How depth colour, sun glints, horizon haze and depth of field make the water read as tropical.
