Location Scout (Dokodemo Rokehan) takes a place name, rebuilds the real block in 3D from OpenStreetMap and elevation data, and draws it as a manga background: line art, screentone and solid black. @sharp_maker's launch post drew about 70,000 likes, and @threejs reshared it. The post doesn't mention AI, but the how-to page says the code was written in conversation with Claude Code. Open data plus one clever render pass was enough to make a tool that working artists use.
